Community Spirit Volunteers - Latest News

We have installed two planters by the church, and another on the path by the Middle Slip. See photos below. plus a report can be read here. Funding for the plants came from our successful grant application to Plus Dane; the plants have been supplied by Marsh Nurseries, and members of the Parkgate Society Committee planted up the boat and planters with the plants.

We are waiting for approval to install hanging baskets outside the toilet block to add more colour to this area.

The Parkgate Society and others hope to have some additional benches installed along the Parade in 2017 but as with all things these days, funding is difficult. If you know of anyone who would like to donate funding towards the cost of a bench please let us know.
