Parkgate Public Amenities

Public Parking

Parkgate and The Parade can get very busy, especially at weekends and holidays, so we recommend using one of the three public car parks provided. There is no charge for parking in these car parks.

Ropewalk Car Park: on Station Road opposite The Ropewalk and before The Neston Club (40 spaces)

School Lane Car Park: on School Lane behind the toilets, left of St Thomas’s Church (10 spaces)

Old Baths Car Park: at the end of the Parade, past The Boat House (30+ spaces)

Note that the parking areas at The Boat House, The Ship Inn and The Old Quay are private and available only to residents and customers.

The parking restrictions along The Parade are enforced, especially parking on the yellow lines.

Public Defibrillators

There are two defibrillators available to the public in the village:

Location 1: Elephant Lounge, The Parade - on the side wall at the Elephant Lounge.

Location 2: The Boat House pub / restaurant - a new defibrillator installed on the corner of the restaurant, courtesy of The Boat House management.

The location of other defibrillators in the Neston area can be found on About My Area.

Public telephone

There is one of the traditional K2 telephone boxes in the village, still kitted out with a working public telephone.

Location: on Mostyn Square, in front of St Thomas’ Church.

Public Toilets

There are public toilets in the centre of the village - these facilities are managed by Neston Council.

Location: By School Lane Car Park, next to St Thomas’s Church.
